OUR STORY
What started as a family hobby—collecting a few rare tropical plants and nursing them back to health—quickly grew into a full-fledged passion project right here in Pearl River, Louisiana.
Led by Samantha “Sammie” Smith, our resident Master Gardener and the heart of the greenhouse, we began sourcing unique tropicals from trusted growers worldwide. From hard-to-find Anthuriums and Philodendrons to striking Alocasias and specialty foliage, every plant that enters our collection is carefully selected, acclimated, and nurtured with patience and precision.
As the plants multiplied, so did the dream. What started as a few shelves in the former Mancave has evolved into a floor-to-ceiling remodel and the creation of The Jungle Room—a true botanical experience. Here, visitors can walk among towering leaves, vibrant textures, and thriving mother plants; preview new imports; and hand-pick showstoppers for their homes and collections.
